Terms of Service
About this tool
Instagram Grid Maker is a free browser utility that splits one local image into grid tiles or carousel slides and saves JPG, PNG or ZIP files. Use the page only if you agree to these terms. There is no account and no server-side image processing.
Your files and responsibilities
You keep ownership of your images. Selecting an image does not grant permission to publish, sell or reuse it. Only process files you are entitled to use, and respect privacy, copyright and other applicable rights.
Check the preview and the generated files before uploading or sharing them. Keep backups of important originals. The tool saves additional copies and never overwrites the source file. Do not use the page for unlawful purposes or to interfere with the website or other users.
Formats, sizes and resource limits
Input is limited to one browser-decodable image per run: JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 50 MB and 100 megapixels. Files with unreadable headers, unsupported formats or excessive pixel counts are rejected. HEIC, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, SVG and RAW files are not supported here. An animated GIF becomes one decoded frame.
Profile mode keeps three columns and 1 to 5 rows. Carousel mode makes 2 to 10 slides in one row. Both export 1080 pixel wide tiles at 1080 x 1080, 1080 x 1350 or, for profile tiles, 1080 x 1440. A crop with fewer pixels than the tile is upscaled, which can look soft. Custom mode supports 1 to 10 rows and 1 to 10 columns and splits at native resolution without cropping or resizing, so widths or heights can differ by 1 pixel where the image does not divide evenly.
Output is newly encoded JPG or PNG, so original EXIF, GPS, comments, color profiles and other embedded metadata are not carried over. Transparent areas become white in JPG output. ZIP archives store files without compression. Large images, many tiles or a 10x10 custom grid can exceed browser memory and may fail or take time; use a smaller source or fewer tiles.
Posting order and platform behaviour
Tiles are numbered in the reverse spatial order used by a profile that shows the newest post at the top left. Pinned posts and profile grid reordering can change where a post appears. Instagram layout, cropping and previews can vary between accounts and versions, so the tool does not guarantee seamless alignment or a specific profile appearance.
Privacy
Selected images are processed in your browser as described in the Privacy Policy. The page does not upload images, filenames or metadata. Normal website requests can still appear in hosting logs, and you control the copies you download.
Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent permitted by applicable law. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every image or browser, error-free results or suitability for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for loss arising from reliance on results or use of the service is excluded. These terms do not exclude liability, consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Third-party components
Image decoding and encoding use the browser's own image and canvas interfaces. ZIP archives are created with fflate 0.8.3, bundled locally and distributed under the MIT license. Its copyright and license notice is included. No runtime CDN, remote font or analytics service is used.
Changes
Features and these terms may change. Updated terms apply to use after the update, not retrospectively to rights that arose earlier.
