Contact Sheet Maker

Terms of Service

About this tool

Contact Sheet Maker is a free browser utility for arranging local images on A4 or US Letter contact sheets and saving a PDF or PNG copy. Use the service only if you agree to these terms. No account or server-side image processing is provided.

Your files and responsibilities

You retain ownership of your images. Selecting an image does not grant permission to publish, sell or reuse it. Only process files you are entitled to use and respect privacy, copyright and other applicable rights.

Check the preview and saved output before printing or sharing. Keep backups of important originals. The app saves separate copies and does not overwrite source files. Do not use the tool for unlawful purposes or to interfere with the website or other users.

Format, quality and resource limits

Input is limited to browser-decodable JPG, PNG and WebP files: up to 100 images, 25 MB per file, 40 megapixels and 32,768 pixels per side. Files with unrecognized, damaged or unusually large headers may be rejected. RAW, HEIC, SVG, GIF and other formats are unsupported. Animated PNG and WebP become a single browser-decoded frame.

Images are processed sequentially and reduced to at most 1,200 pixels on their longest side. They are fitted proportionally without cropping. Transparent areas become white. Exported sheets, including PDF pages and filenames, are rasterized; text is not searchable. Export resolutions are 96, 150 and 200 DPI. PDF includes all pages, while PNG includes the selected page only.

Downsampling and JPEG compression can reduce visual quality. Original metadata and embedded color profiles are not preserved. EXIF orientation, supported images and color appearance depend on browser decoding. This is not a color-managed print-production tool. Large exports can still exceed browser memory, fail or take time; lower the resolution or use fewer images if necessary. Browser and printer settings affect final printed size.

Privacy

Selected images are processed in your browser as described in the Privacy Policy. The app does not upload images, filenames or metadata. Normal website requests can still be recorded in hosting logs. You control downloaded copies and what you share.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent permitted by applicable law. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every image, error-free results or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for loss arising from reliance on results or use of the service is excluded. These terms do not exclude liability, consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Third-party components

Browser image APIs perform image decoding and encoding. PDF generation uses the locally bundled jsPDF library, distributed under the MIT license. Its copyright and license notice is included. No runtime CDN is required.

Changes

Features and these terms may change. Updated terms apply to use after the update, not retrospectively to rights that arose earlier.
