Privacy Policy
This policy describes what the Cron Expression Explainer does with the text and settings you enter.
Local processing
The expression, time zone selection and number of next runs are processed in your browser. The explainer does not send the expression, the parsed fields, the extracted command or the calculated run times to a server. No account is required. Values are held in page memory while the page is open; closing or reloading the page releases this page's references, not necessarily every browser or operating-system copy.
No storage or URL parameters
The explainer does not write the expression to cookies, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or the page URL. It does not add the expression to links. The explainer keeps no saved copy, so a fresh load starts with the default example; your browser's own form restoration, if enabled, is outside this page's control.
Website requests and logs
Loading the page requests its HTML, stylesheet, script and favicon from the hosting server. Your browser may also cache those static files. Servers and proxies may record an IP address, request time, requested URL and browser headers in access or security logs. Log retention is controlled by the hosting configuration and is not visible to this page. The expression you type is not part of those static asset requests.
Screen and external links
Schedules, commands and calculated times shown on screen may be sensitive. They are not included in the links to related tools. Following a related link opens another page and is subject to that page's own practices.
Changes
This policy may change if the tool or its hosting practices change.
