Fenix A320 random failures, on your schedule
Want a busier flight without knowing what’s going to break? Frenzy is a free random failure generator for Microsoft Flight Simulator, using the Fenix A320’s remote EFB.
Choose the failure frequency and limit, or import your SimBrief plan for intervals that fit the flight. The fault stays random; you decide how much trouble to invite.

Pick your pace
- Custom failure intervals. Choose low, medium or high intensity, or set your own random windows. Save and edit presets.
- SimBrief integration. Import your latest flight plan for timing options based on its planned airborne duration.
- Keep the surprise. Hide spoilers. Scheduled timers run only while airborne.
- Take a breather. Enough already pauses new faults. Feeling lucky adds one within 60 seconds.
- Watch the flight. Live flight and fuel data, active faults, severity badges and failure hints. Follow ECAM/QRH for procedures.
Up and running in three steps
-
Unzip Fenix Failure Frenzy to any directory, open
index.htmland set your EFB address. - Load your Fenix A320 in the MSFS, import SimBrief plan or enter data manually.
- Start the session, done! The counter will start once you become airborne.
It sends failure commands through the remote tablet. No simulator memory access or aircraft-file changes. Settings stay on your device; optional flight-plan import contacts SimBrief.
Download the browser package
A ZIP with everything you need. Unzip it and open index.html in your
browser — no installer or account needed.
Desktop browsers recommended. A second device on the same local network works too; mobile file and local-network permissions vary.
Quick questions
Fenix random failures too rare, even on High?
The built-in system uses mean time between failures, so gaps can be long. Frenzy lets you choose shorter intervals. See the Fenix failures guide for the built-in options.
Can I choose the exact fault?
Frenzy picks randomly from available EFB failures. For a particular fault, use the tablet directly.
Is this an official Fenix add-on?
No. It requires the Fenix A320 and is not affiliated with Fenix Simulations, Airbus or Microsoft.
